Frequently asked questions
Do I need a licence to rent a motorbike in Mocoa?
Yes — for motorbikes and scooters we ask for a valid driving licence and an ID document or passport. Mountain bikes don't require a licence. We also take a security deposit (COP 300,000).
How much does it cost to rent a motorbike or a bike?
Motorbikes and scooters from $50,000 per day; bikes from $30,000 per day. There are hourly, half-day, weekly, fortnightly and monthly rates — cheaper the more days you take. We confirm the final price on WhatsApp.
What does the rental include?
A helmet for each person, a marked route map, a full tank when the motorbike is handed over, a repair kit on the bikes and a contact number on the road. We check brakes and tyres with you before setting off.
Where do I set off from, and can I go to the waterfalls?
We set out from the house, in Vereda Villa Nueva km 3. We mark routes on the map such as Fin del Mundo, Ojo de Dios & Dantayaco or the road to El Pepino, and tell you how the road is that day.
Do you offer an accompanying guide?
Yes, you can add an accompanying guide for $90,000 a day. We can also deliver the motorbike to the centre of Mocoa or transport the bikes to the route for an additional cost.
Which day would you like to head out?
Tell us how many you are, how many days, and whether you prefer a motorbike or a bike. We book in advance because the fleet is small.
