At the Dantayaco Canyon, water has sculpted the rock over centuries into walls, curves and deep-blue pools. It's a "hidden treasure" that combines a refreshing swim with fascinating views of the canyon.
It is often visited together with the Ojo de Dios area. Access includes stretches of unpaved road, best travelled by manual motorbike or transport when the road is wet.
How to get there
Unpaved road in stretches; better on a manual motorbike if it rained the night before, or with arranged transport. It is usually combined with Ojo de Dios.

- Avoid the canyon when the river is high
- Manual motorbike or transport suited to unpaved roads
- Shoes with grip and caution on the rock
