The Rumiyaco River — which downstream joins the Caliyaco — offers many fresh-water pools to swim in, with stone beaches and tree shade. It's one of the favourite weekend plans for locals and visitors alike.
Being easy to reach and with different pools to choose from, it works very well for a relaxed day by the river, with no demanding hikes.
How to get there
Access close to Mocoa by motorbike, bike or transport; different entry points to the river depending on the pool.
